A little about me..

I'm a writer, or at least trying to become one. I fell into this notion when figuring out what I wanted to do for my master's degree. My bachelor's degree is a hot mess, a somewhat deviation from my associate's degree, and I wanted to rein in my ambitions, so I explored my options and studied creative writing. While finishing my bachelor’s degree, I found I enjoyed researching and writing, so creative writing seemed a good combination of what I had already been studying and my other ambitions in life.
I was a much older student, far from traditional. Starting a career in writing is a bit mind-boggling to me, considering I have never written anything. I did write a little something for my kids when they were young; unfortunately, it was accidentally trashed, and I've not been able to reproduce it — maybe one day I’ll figure it out; I try once in a while.
So here I am, trying to make this work, partially through this blog and other hopeful endeavors. What this blog will look like is only guesswork. I want to write some ramblings of my thoughts, thoughts on books I read, and things I’m interested in researching; at this point, the ideas are endless. How often I will write at this point is guesswork, but I’m going to try and write often.
